Rental Agreement
Party Rentals Winnipeg Terms and Conditions:
Payment of the items on this rental order constitutes agreement to these rental terms and conditions. You are responsible for reading and understanding PRWs entire Terms and Conditions. All rental items and services are secured for the agreed date only when a 50% non-refundable deposit via credit card is received, unless alternative arrangements have been made. Final Payment will be charged to your card 7 days prior to the event date or pickup/delivery. Custom items Purchased will require full payment immediately at the time the item is requested. Upon pickup or delivery the renter agrees that all rentals items and accessories are in satisfactory condition. Should the renter want to identify any damages to the equipment upon renting, they must do so before the item leaves our rental facility or while our staff is present for delivery/setup. Acceptances of this agreement grants Party Rentals Winnipeg the right to charge the card on file for any damages, late fees or surcharges. Payment: Party Rentals Winnipeg accepts payment via credit card. Corporate Clients, Charities, Foundations, Organizations may arrange alternative payment methods such as eft or cheque. To do so, please email [email protected] prior to placing your order. Responsibility: All rental items are under the responsibility of the renter on file. Should the item be rented on behalf of a third party, or taken to another location, the renter bares all responsibility for that item and is to ensure its safe return to Party Rentals Winnipeg. Late Customer Pickup: The Renter is responsible for ensuring they are able to pickup the items at the Pickup time indicated on the rental order. It is the Renters responsibility to contact Party Rentals Winnipeg immediately if they or their designated persons are unable to arrive at the determined time and to make every effort to arrive within PRWs Pickup/Return hours. While Party Rentals Winnipeg will make every effort to accommodate your pickup, Party Rentals Winnipeg is not responsible for missed pickups due to late arrivals. Late Customer Return: It is the Renters responsibility to ensure items are returned at the time indicated on the rental order. Items returned 15 mins after the Return time indicated on the rental order may be subject to a 25% late fee at Party Rentals Winnipeg's discretion. Should the late return of the items result in a failure to fulfil another order, the Renter will be charged a $350 surcharge. Refund Policy: There are no-refunds once services have been render. Cancellations: If an order is cancelled more than 7 days prior to the event or pickup/delivery, whichever comes first, any funds received less the non-refundable deposit, will be returned via the same method of payment. If an order is cancelled within 7 days of the event or pickup/delivery, whichever comes first, any funds received will not be refunded. If an event is postponed, any funds received can be transferred to the rescheduled event. Any items included in the rental order will be provided on the rescheduled date, providing they are not already reserved for another event during that rental period. Should your item be unavailable on the rescheduled date, the customer has the option to pick another rental item for equal value, or receive a gift card to use for a future event. Rental Protection Plan: A 10% damage protection charge will automatically be added to your contract (unless declined before pickup/delivery via email request at [email protected]). Damage protection will cover the first $100.00 of broken or damaged equipment and 50% of any additional damage or breakage. The remaining 50% will be the customer’s responsibility. If the damage protection is declined. The customer is responsible of the full cost of replacement, and/or fixing of the equipment. The Damage Protection option is not insurance and does not cover the following: Rental items not returned, theft, damage resulting from vandalism, damage resulting from failure to secure rental items during transport overloading or exceeding the rated capacity of the rental items, damage to motors or other electronic devices caused by artificial current, damages resulting from overturning, any damage due to weather, any damage to third party sub rental items or specialty linens. If the rental protection plan is declined the client will pay full retail replacement cost of the damaged item(s). Damages: Items are to be returned in a similar condition in which they received the item and be in a condition reusable for the next rental. It is the responsibility of the renter to return all rental items, accessories, weights, parts, extensions cords etc. All items should be returned clean and wiped down of debris. All electrical should be in good working order and reusable for the next rental (exception: burnt-out bulb). Should any damages occur, (i.e., cracked structures, large or significant gouges, malfunctioning electrical, missing parts, etc), it is the renters responsibility to notify Party Rentals Winnipeg immediately for assessment and the renter may be subject to additional charges. |
